It is made up of a three-dimensional network of silicon, aluminum, and oxygen atoms, which creates a lattice structure with uniform channels or pores. The pore size of 13X molecular sieves is optimized for the adsorption of molecules with a diameter of less than 10 angstroms, such as water, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide.
