Diphenyl Ethers Description

Diphenyl ethers is an aromatic, high–boiling-point organic compound with the formula C12H10O. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid used as a high-temperature organic solvent, heat transfer/heat-stable intermediate, and as a building block in the chemical industry. Its aromatic structure gives it good thermal stability and chemical resistance compared with many aliphatic ethers.
