Product Description

Glyoxal (CAS 107-22-2) is the smallest dialdehyde, supplied as a 40% aqueous solution. The highly reactive aldehyde groups enable efficient crosslinking with hydroxyl, amino groups of cellulose, starch, polyvinyl alcohol, proteins and polyacrylamide. This industrial grade glyoxal solution is a key raw material for textile resin finishing, paper wet strength enhancement, leather tanning and formaldehyde-reduced resin systems.
