Product Description

Basic Copper Carbonate, also called cupric carbonate basic (CAS 12069-69-1), is a green to bluish-green powder corresponding to the natural mineral malachite, with the composition CuCO₃·Cu(OH)₂. It is insoluble in water but readily dissolves in mineral acids with carbon dioxide evolution, and decomposes into cupric oxide when heated above 200 °C. This industrial grade product with 55% min copper content is a key raw material for copper pigments, copper salt manufacturing, catalysts and micronutrient applications.
