Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil is vegetable oil that has been chemically hydrogenated (partially or fully) to improve stability, texture, and shelf-life. Hydrogenation reduces the number of unsaturated double bonds, increasing solid fat content at room temperature and lowering oxidation and rancidity risk.
