DL-Tartaric Acid — Description

DL-Tartaric acid (chemical formula CHO) is the racemic form of tartaric acid, containing a 1:1 mixture of D- and L-tartaric acid. It is a white crystalline powder and is widely used in food, pharma, and industrial formulations due to its acidulant and acid–salt formation properties (e.g., as a calcium/tartarate salt).
